So said Anton Geraschenko, a senior adviser to the country’s interior minister. “Clearly Trump is now looking for kompromat
to discredit his opponent Biden, to take revenge for his friend Paul
Manafort, who is serving seven years in prison.” But he continued: “We do not investigate Biden
in Ukraine, since we have not received a single official request to do
so."
These statements came before the whistle blower revelations, but Geraschenko repeated this statement again after that revelation. The whistle blower complaint though said it was Dump making this promise directly with the Ukraine President. However "on Thursday evening Giuliani admitted
he had asked officials in Ukraine to investigate Biden. Giuliani told
CNN’s Chris Cuomo in a contentious interview that there is nothing wrong
with pressing for an investigation into corruption," once again brazenly it. It is a crime when you exchange it for military assistance.
