Our house is on fire. Join the resistance: Do no harm/take no shit. My idiosyncratic and confluent bricolage of progressive politics, the collaborative commons, next generation cognitive neuroscience, American pragmatism, de/reconstruction, dynamic systems, embodied realism, postmetaphysics, psychodynamics, aesthetics. At least this business owner gets it
See this story. Dan Price, founder of Gravity Systems, read an article saying that most people would be happy financially if they made around $70,000 per year. So what does he do? He raises the minimum annual wage in his company to $70,000. To pay for it he's cutting his own annual salary from $1 million to $70,000 minimum. Here's someone who gets that his employees are what make money for him. And that $70,000 really is enough money to be happy.
