Trump betrays his base's trust

In Colbert's monologue last night he addresses Trump trying to repress the press and his Cabinet picks going back to the old South. You remember, the good old days of slavery. But around 4:00 he holds Trump accountable for going back on his pledge to prosecute Clinton and put her in jail. So he's already betraying his base's trust by going back on this word to do so, one of those policies that they demanded obnoxiously: "Lock her up!" You see Trumpholes, you can't trust him and never could. That you thought he'd do all those things he said he would just means that you too, like him, are big losers that do not have the majority support of this country that is our land.
