He's making a bid to replace Pelosi as House minority leader. In this interview he said that a key factor in the huge Democratic Party losses was poor communication. What is needed is a robust economic message, obviously rooted in a deep compassion for those who are struggling. And yet he's still caught in policy minutiae and not effective communication. So they recognize the problem but seems like they also refuse to accept the solution: effective framing. The GOP and Trump have been masters of this, hence their success. The Dems keep fighting it like it's just spin, even when it's highly successful for their own team members like Obama, Sanders and Warren. The latter took to heart effective framing of progressive ideals from Lakoff. Will the rest ever learn?
