In this interview Sanders talks about how Trump tapped into the pain, angst and anxiety of the American people. This is what the pundits missed. It's a large part of the same constituency that supported Sanders too. He and Trump were the only two candidates talking about it. Hence when Sanders was sabotaged by his own Party those voters went to Trump instead of Clinton because the latter and her Party didn't connect with (that is, give a shit about) this voting block.
