Reich: Repugs tell Big Pharma not to cooperate with Congress

That's what it's come to. Repugs are trying to block House efforts to get at the bottom of Big Pharma's price gouging because that's who pays them off. Reich's FB post commenting on this article follows. You can't shame them though, as shame requires some sense of compassion and caring. These shameless, cruel, inhumane and corrupt Repugs only care about money and power. Remember that when it comes time to vote them out.

"I can't remember anything like this ever happening before. Republicans in Congress are openly encouraging pharmaceutical companies not to cooperate with a House Oversight Committee investigation into skyrocketing prescription drug prices. In letters to executives, they warn that cooperating with the committee could expose them to further public scrutiny.

Once again, Republicans in Congress are siding with Big Pharma at the expense of the American people. They are willing to sacrifice a congressional investigation in order to protect the corporations that fund their campaigns. Shame on them."
