Supreme Corp rules for cruel and unusual punishment

A death row inmate's case came before them. The inmate has a disease that given a lethal injection would cause him to choke to death slowly on his own blood. The inmate just wanted another means of execution, one that would not cause such cruel and unusual punishment, which until now was prohibited by the Constitution. But no, Gorsuch writing for the majority noted: "The 8th Amendment does not guarantee a prisoner a painless death." Well, it used to but apparently no more. Just one more example of the cruel Repugnantan worldview.
