The Overton window

What's interesting about this is that Repugnantans frame ideas entirely popular to the public as extreme and unacceptable, like Medicare for All, a living wage, fair taxation, reasonable gun reform and climate action. Whereas repeated polling shows that these ideas garner majority support. So the actual acceptable window is spun as outside acceptability by vested corporate interests. As a relevant aside, lying in order to manipulate is not only not fair, it is not protected free speech under the first Amendment.
