I appreciated Jeremy's framing around 39:00, and Brent's point generally, that the emergentia needs to support the economic populism on the ground. I used to be more oriented toward the developmental narrative of the next best paradigm, but most working people just see that as more of the same elitist manipulation that got us into this mess. So I've shifted my focus and redefined my role more toward the framing wars needed to move working people with bread and butter economics.

In a sense I retired from being a big-picture General to more of a Lieutenant fighting in the trenches along with the foot soldier. I still understand the strategy and policy of the Commanders but have to translate it down the chain for those of us actually doing the fighting on the front lines. And like Brent, when I try to translate what's happening down here up the chain, the top doesn't seem to get it and just sees us as canon fodder for their lofty ideologies.
