Progressive trench warfare

Amen. It's why I prefer to spend my days supporting Sanders and like-minded progressives and fighting for their (meaning our, i.e. we the people's) agenda. It's a fight that takes many forms with many practical tactics. Without getting our hands dirty in that fight our ideas float off into abstract space. And criticizing some of those grounded (dirty) tactics because they aren't ephemeral, abstract or highfalutin enough inhibits the very sort of action necessary to win political battles and elections so that we can create a better society. It's why I prefer to stay in the trenches instead of the high castles.
