Norway on public/private responsibilities
See this interview . Why does Norway always lead in the global happiness index? One reason is that they practice what they preach. They realize that the government has legitimate responsibilities that should never be handled by private business. One of those things is building infrastructure. Also Norway's government works for everyone, not just for the powerful few. Yes, private business has its place but that is not the place of sole influence like in the US. The economy can't be either extreme central planning or unregulated markets but something else. This interview explores that something else.
