Obama nails Boehner on the facts

Today the President states a plain, simple fact: If House Speaker Boehner would allow a vote on a 'clean' spending bill, meaning one not attached to defunding or delaying Obamacare, it would garner enough Republican votes and thus end the government shutdown immediately. That is a fact. The shutdown could be over if the Boehner would allow a vote, that simple. But no, he is so afraid of the Tea Party and its rich backers that he is willing to keep the government shut down and cause grievous harm to the economy and the American people.
