Who is responsible for the government shutdown?

See Jon Stewart below. The regressive talking point is that Obama and the Dems won't 'negotiate.' What that means is that they won't defund Obamacare in order to pass a budget resolution to keep the government open. In the video Stewart shows that Boehner had already agreed to a 'clean' budget resolution that did not contain Obamacare concessions but he went back on this promise. Therein he also admits that the regressive stand was to shut down the government if they did not get Obamacare concessions. The regressives shut down the government and they need to practice what they preach about personal responsibility. As Stewart remarks: "Don't fart and point at the dog."
