Facts refute regressive spin on minimum wage increases
Yes, it's a recurring theme. But the regressive ideological spin has no basis in fact, so I'll keep countering that spin with facts that refute their fantasies. In this case, the regressive myth is that raising the minimum wage will reduce employment and hurt the economy. Some facts: Washington State has the highest minimum wage in the US and also has a job growth rate above the national average. The restaurant and bar industry grew by 21 %.
