Our house is on fire. Join the resistance: Do no harm/take no shit. Buttigieg admits BCBS was client at McKinsey
Continuing this post where Potter speculated that one of Buttigieg's clients was Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of Michigan during his time at McKinsey. The Butt has now admitted that it is true. Potter noted that McK is infamous for coming into companies to "reduce inefficiency," which means firing a lot of people while the top management continue to rake in huge salaries and bonuses. Butt admitted that was his job at McK with BCBS, but that he doesn't think his work led to job cuts. Potter noted that BCBS did in fact lay off hundreds of workers. Butt's excuse is that all he did was crunch numbers, that decisions about what to do with them came from upper management. But we now know that upper management fired a lot of people because Butt's numbers indicated that they should.
