Our house is on fire. Join the resistance: Do no harm/take no shit. The regressive jobs 'fix'
The GOP House has endorsed a bill named the Save American Workers Act that naturally will do everything but what it claims to do. The bill changes the definition of full-time employment to 40 hours from 30 hours. According to the CBO one million workers would lose their work-based insurance policies. Of those half would be forced on to an Obamacare plan and the other half would have no health insurance at all. It also loosens the penalty for not having insurance which would increase the deficit by $74 billion. Brilliant plan. Really saves the American workers, now doesn't it? You can always rest assured that when they spin something, like the name of this bill, it will be the exact opposite.
